4.5 Assignment — Getting Business Ready for the DPP
Choose the track for your profile, then complete the version that matches it.
Complete a one-page document that captures your DPP readiness plan, built around a short checklist. The checklist is not about which data your business already has but about whether the process around that data is actually in place.
Step 1: Complete the checklist. For each item, mark Yes, No, or Not sure:
OWNERSHIP
SUPPLIERS
HABIT AND ROUTINE
EVIDENCE
REUSE AND RESILIENCE
VET (EQF 4 — identify, describe, follow steps) Complete the checklist for one product you are currently working on or have recently designed. For any item marked No or Not sure, write one sentence describing the first concrete step that would move it to Yes.
HEI (EQF 5 — apply, compare, implement) Complete the checklist for one product you are currently working on or have recently designed, then answer the two reflection questions with a short justification (2–3 sentences each), linking your reasoning back to concepts from the sections before.
Professionals (EQF 6 — assess, justify, design) Complete the checklist for a product line at your own organisation, then answer the two reflection questions in depth. Extend the plan into a short action proposal: name the process change that would close the weakest area identified, assign it a realistic owner, and set a timeframe.
